Oxycodone is an opiate that is commonly used to treat pain. Oxydone is only available through prescription, and has many addictive properties. Like heroin, oxycodone effects dopamine levels, which can often lead to dependance of the drug. There are a number of ways that oxycodone is ingested, orally in pill form, and some users crush the pills to ingest by snorting. Commonly prescribed pain killers which contain oxycodone are: Oxycontin, Percocet, Endocet, Tylox, and Roxicet.
Commonly observed side effects of Oxycodone (OXY) are nausea, vomiting, dizziness, shallow breathing, and slow heart beat.
The detection period for oxycodone is similar to other opiods such as morphine, which is 2 to 7 days.
